The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mop, this is the model you should go for. It is smaller than other models and makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 mins when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through cleaning.

It's extremely fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to remove dirt as well as pet hair and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't make as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a variety of features.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it has some distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's main draw is its huge dock which doubles as a charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a clean sink and an automatic vacuum and mop robot 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning task, recall the robot, or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two of the buttons to switch on a child lock which is a great feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to spot obstacles and furniture in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it is entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its application.

Another possible issue is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
