Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. It does however, have certain unique features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base comes with a few control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at finding objects.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't an issue aside from the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxes.
