Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house and create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot hoover and mop navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are essential in my house filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum and mop mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.

Like many robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot vacuums best's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
