State officials in Indiana are pushing employers to offer better wages and benefits as a method of keeping child care workers in the country which is a problem due to a shortage of work. Illinois Department of Labor also has launched an online tool to provide small-sized businesses with information on the laws governing employment. Employers can search for keywords or browse categories on the site; as well as connect with state agencies and information sources.
