Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, also called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment provides an increase in linearity of any stat.

Players can recycle six items at once to gain a gauge for the upgraded component of each item. The cost of recycling items increases depending on their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

An upgrade items for an item in Guild Wars 2 is a process that can boost the stats of your armor and weapons. This can be achieved in a variety of ways, including by using upgrade components or increasing the rarity or mark level. A lot of items can be reforged in order to increase their stats.

The actual value of the glyph is determined by the tier and the quality of the item you are enchanting it to.

The majority of upgrade components inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without removing them, with the exception of legendary equipment and upgrades. If you do have an unusable rune or glyph that has not yet been incorporated into your equipment, you can transfer it to a different piece of equipment by utilizing the Upgrade Glyphs context menu in the Glyphs panel. This will create an Glyph Set that includes the selected glyph.

This lowering effect is most effective on Diadems and ring items, which have no other options for raising ilvls.

The Reroll system has been criticized by players for being too expensive and it's more equitable to let players pay for it in the form of money or food items which would allow them to change their builds without wasting time and energy. The developers have no plans to implement paid rerolls at this stage of the game's development. They're planning to include a potion that will allow players to alter their race in the future.

Leveling

There are several ways to upgrade an item. The first method of leveling up an item upgrade is by increasing the upgrade amount. This increases the value of an upgrade for any stat.
