We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and move around the room and sweep the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car in a world of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It is powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on the bookcase or coffee table.

The V10 is powered by seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries that produces power that is not fading for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filtering system is able to trap allergens and then releases cleaner air into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpets, and then pick up large particles or fine dust. It has three suction modes to suit the task at hand. It is able to swiftly change between handheld and floor vacuum, and vice versa.
