The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. However, it has numerous excellent features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It comes with a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be moved up and down by pressing the button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel itself but this is not recommended because it increases the chance that your baby will fall out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only stay down when attached to the bed properly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to start. It took us an hour to complete and was surprisingly simple. The only downside was the absence of captions written on a few images, which made it difficult to comprehend certain steps. However, it was an easy procedure and the quality of materials employed was of a high standard.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are nursing or have had C-sections. It lets them reach out and touch their baby to comfort them and feeding without leaving their bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the stress of putting their child in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.
