This will activate the anti-hijack mode and once active any attempt to start the engine will be stopped. When the system determines that the vehicle is no longer moving, it will honk the horn and flash the indicators. If it is not able to locate the correct code, it will also stall the engine (where it is). By entering your push sequence, or entering service mode, you can deactivate the Anti-Hijack function. This allows your vehicle to start temporarily without having to enter a PIN.

If you have an GPS device connected to your BMW, you can use it to disable the Anti-Hijack function so that you can continue to use your navigation system when the vehicle is stationary.
