The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft

Upgrades are a different kind of item that provides a boost to your stats. You can upgrade your armor weapons, trinkets and weapons with these.

If you have Benthic equipment that you acquired through the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at ilvl 385 and is upgradeable with [Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades to your PvE gear are available to all accounts. Upgrades to your PvP equipment require the use of a specific currency, such as [Valorstones] and [Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade additional gear in an armor slot decreases after the initial upgrade items.

Weapons

Be aware that weapons can only be upgraded to 25 ilvl, and not higher. As a result, players should only upgrade their weapons once they've accumulated the maximum number of upgrades from regular and Whetblade items.

Trinkets

The Trinkets provide a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded like other equipment by interacting with an Item Upgrader NPC.
