WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item upgrader mod that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an button, which will show an item's preview at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item upgrades and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for example.
